FAMILY FUN DAY
On May 7, hundreds of people enjoyed children's games, a watercolor workshop, Sit Spot nature exercise, Snakes 'n Scales live animal demo, County Sheriff K9 demo, guided walk in Jones Woods / Green Strip, food and lots and lots of fun!
There was a brief commemorative ceremony with officials from Morristown and Morris Township and the Burnham heirs. The Burnham Park Association gratefully acknowledges their support. Our 2nd flamingo Scavenger Hunt was initiated for a run of two weeks with birds spotted in Jones Woods, the Green Strip and Burnham Park. Congratulations to the winners, the Armstrong and Snaguski families who spotted the most flamingos! |
