Ash Tree Control in Burnham Park
The Emerald Ash Borer is a beetle that has killed millions of ash trees across the nation and is currently invading New Jersey. Ash trees that have been infested by the beetle on Morris Twp, Morristown and Morris County property are being monitored, tagged and removed in populated areas on an ongoing basis. In Burnham Park, the Shade Tree Commission is monitoring heritage trees affected by the ash borer. Two trees are over 30% affected and will be removed.
