Public Input

In 2020, the Town of Morristown began formation of a Burnham Park Master Plan, a guidance document for Park maintenance over a 2 to 10 year period depending on the recommendations. Three community meetings outside in the Park - in the fall of 2020 and early 2021 - were planned to give stakeholder groups the opportunity to provide input into the Master Plan. Attendees include representatives from Morristown and Shade Tree Commission, the BPA, the Engineer from Maser Consulting - the firm drafting the Plan - the Alexander Hamilton Neighborhood Association, Smith Design - providing Adopt the Park stewardship, and others. The Master Plan will be presented with the opportunity for comment at public hearings in 2021.
